נעם לי לקבל מכתבם, בו כותבים אודות ההתועדות בימי הסגולה וביחוד בחג הגאולה י"ט כסלו, החג אשר פדה בשלום נפשנו ואור וחיות נפשנו ניתן לנו, ראש השנה לחסידות, ובודאי מתאים לשמו ראש השנה נמשך חיות ותוספת כח בהימים הבאים אחרי זה בהנוגע לתורת החסידות הדרכותי' ומנהגי' הנותנים תוספת אור וחיות בחיי איש הישראלי בימות החול ועאכו"כ בשבתות וימים טובים.
והשי"ת ימלא משאלות לבבם לטובה, וכלשונם במכתבם, שיהי' בית הכנסת זה חב"די באמת ממנו יצא אור התורה והחסידות לכל הסביבה.
וגדול זכות הפצת המעינות חוצה להשפיע רוב טוב גשמי ורוחני לכל אחד ואחד מהחברים ומתפללים של בית הכנסת והגבאים בראשם הם ובני ביתם שיחיו.

I was pleased to receive your letter in which you write about the gathering during these auspicious days, especially on the Festival of Redemption, Yud-Tes Kislev—the festival that redeemed our soul in peace and gave us light and vitality for our souls; the Rosh Hashanah of Chassidus. Surely, true to its name as Rosh Hashanah, it draws down vitality and added strength into the days that follow regarding the teachings of Chassidus—its guidance and customs—which bring additional light and vitality into a Jew's daily life during weekdays and all the more so on Shabbos and festivals.
May Hashem fulfill your heart's desires for good, as you wrote in your letter: that this synagogue should truly be a Chabad house from which the light of Torah and Chassidus shines forth to all its surroundings.
The great merit of spreading the wellsprings outward brings abundant material and spiritual goodness to each member and worshipper of the synagogue—with the gabbaim at their head—and to their families. With honor and many blessings for goodness.
