...אינו מובן אפילו לדעתו, באיזה תוקף רוצה להעמיד על מה שנראה לו בהנוגע לקבלת תל' לביה"ס, כיון שזהו מתפקידו של המנהל כנהוג בכל העולם כולו, מובן שמנהלי בתי ספר הם ג"כ בו"ד ועלולים לטעות, ולכן הרשות נתונה להביא קובלנא עליהם לזה העומד על גביהם, אבל "יש מקום לומר" שגם ... עלול לטעות, ולא הוא נתמנה לעשות דין לעצמו ... ויהי רצון שיערה עליו רוח ממרום ויבוא לידי הכרה, אשר עדיין לא הגיע להדרגא ולבי חלל בקרבי, שבמילא הנה כל הנהגותיו לפרטי' הם טוב בתכלית ואין להרהר אחריו. ובמילא מזמן לזמן יטיל ספק אולי יש לשאול דעת חבריו קודם שיעשה דבר בפועל...

May it be G‑d's will that a spirit from Above be bestowed upon him and he comes to recognize that he has not yet reached the level of "my heart is empty within me," so that all his actions in every detail are perfectly good and beyond question. Therefore, from time to time he should consider whether perhaps he ought to consult with his colleagues before taking action...
