איך בין געווען צופרידען צו באקומען א ידיעה וועגען אייך דורך הרה"ח אי"א נו"נ עוסק בצ"צ מוה"ר יוסף יהודא שי' חן, וועלכער שרייבט מיר אויך וועגען אייער אקטיווען איינטייל אין צוגרייטען דעם פורים-אווענט, וועלכער איז פארגעשטעלט געווארען דורך תלמידות פון בית רבקה תחיינה, וואס אויב אין אלע ערטער און אויף אלע צייטען איז געזאגט געווארען אז מצוה לפרסם עושי מצוה, און נוצען דעם ענין פון קנאת סופרים תרבה חכמה, על אחת כמה וכמה אין אונזער דור עלוב ויתום אז מען דארף אננעמען אלע מיטלען צו פארשטארקען און פארשפרייטן אידישקייט ברוח ישראל סבא, אין וואס מער ברייטערע קרייזען און ספעציעל צו אויסנוצען אויף דעם די זמני רצון, וואס דענסטמאל איז יעדער זאך וואס עס איז פארבונדען מיט תורה ומצוה האט דענסטמאל א ספעציעלע הצלחה, דאס זיינען די זמנים פון שבתות ימים טובים וחנוכה ופורים וכו'.
און בפרט נאך אין די לעצטע יארען וואס אויף יעדערן פון אונז שארית הפליטה איז ארויפגעלייגט אויך די ארבעט וואס ביז יעצט פלעגט זי געטאן ווערן דורך די וועלכע זיינען נהרגו על קידוש השם הי"ד.
און אלס צוגאב צו דעם אלעס ווען עס רעט זיך וועגען קינדער, וואס עס איז א דורכאויס א מוז אריינגעבען אין זיי די שטארקייט צו געגען שטעלען זיך די אלע ניט געוואונשענע ווינטען, וועלכע בלאזען פון דער גאס, און ווילען אריינדרינגען אין די הייזער אויך פון אידישע קינדער, און ספעציעל איז גרויס די סכנה פון די פשרות ווינטען, וואס זיי זאגען אז אס מאכט ניט אויס אז מען איז ניט אזוי קנאות'דיק, ווי מען איז געווען אמאליגע צייטען, און אין א קורצער צייט ארום זאגט מען שוין, אז עס מאכט ניט אויס אז מען איז ניט אזוי אידישליך ווי אמאל, און סוף כל סוף ווייס מען ניט וואו אפשטעלען זיך.
און דעריבער איז א ליובאוויטשער חינוך - וואס פארבינדט דעם דור מיט דעם עבר און ערקלערט זיי, אז זיי זיינען בני ובנות אברהם יצחק יעקב, שרה רבקה רחל לאה, און דעריבער מוזען אויך זיי נאכגיין אין די וועגען, ווי עס איז אונז אנגעזאגט געווארען אין אונזער תורה תורת חיים, וואס נאר דענסטמאל קען מען זיין זיכער אז עס וועט אויסוואקסען א דור ישרים יבורך.
און דער זכות פון די אלע וועלכע העלפען אין דעם יעדערער אויף זיין אופן און מיט זיינע גאנצע מעגליכקייטן, זאל ביישטיין יעדערען פון זיי אין דעם וואס ער באדארף מיט זיין פאמיליע - שיחיו.

I was pleased to receive news about you through Haraha"ch iy"a nu"n, one involved with tzt"z, Moreinu HaRav Yosef Yehuda Chen, who also writes to me about your active participation in preparing the Purim event that was presented by the students of Beis Rivkah. If it is always said everywhere and at all times that it is a mitzvah to publicize those who perform mitzvos and to use the idea of 'kinas sofrim tarbeh chokhmah' (the jealousy among scholars increases wisdom), how much more so in our impoverished and orphaned generation that we must adopt every means to strengthen and spread Judaism in the spirit of Yisrael Saba, in ever-wider circles—especially utilizing auspicious times when anything connected to Torah and mitzvah has special success. These are times like Shabbos, festivals, Chanukah, Purim, etc.
Especially in recent years, when upon each of us—the surviving remnant—has been placed also the work that until now was done by those who were killed al kiddush Hashem (may G‑d avenge their blood).
Additionally, when it comes to children, it is always necessary to instill in them the strength to withstand all undesirable winds blowing from the street and trying to penetrate even into Jewish homes. The danger is especially great from winds of compromise that claim it does not matter if one is not as zealous as in earlier times; soon after they say it does not matter if one is not as Jewish as before—and ultimately one does not know where to draw the line.
Therefore, a Lubavitch education—which connects this generation with the past and explains that they are sons and daughters of Avraham, Yitzchak, Yaakov; Sarah, Rivkah, Rachel, Leah—and therefore must follow their ways as commanded in our Torah of life—only then can we be sure that an upright generation will grow up.
The merit of all those who help in this—each according to his ability—should stand by each of them for whatever they need with their family—may they live.
