דא"ג ראיתי בהפראגראם שהי' ג"כ ישיבה מוקדשת לד"ת ואתענין לדעת רמת השקו"ט ותוכנה, היינו אם רק לפלפולא בעלמא או גם בהנוגע למעשה בפועל, והפרטיות בזה תשובח...

I acknowledge receipt of your letter from Parshas Beshalach, and I am surprised that you are so brief in the content of your speeches at the rabbinical gatherings in your district. Surely you have emphasized, are emphasizing, and will continue to emphasize at every possible opportunity the great importance and absolute necessity in our times to utilize every occasion to stress the matter of practical mitzvah observance in daily life—for this is the whole person: 'Et HaElokim Yira V'et Mitzvotav Shmor' (Fear G‑d and keep His commandments).
By the way, I saw in the program that there was also a session dedicated to Torah study, and I am interested to know the level of discussion and its content—whether it was only theoretical debate or also related to practical application; details on this would be appreciated…
