מכתביו בעתם קבלתי, כשהייתי על הציון של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר קראתי ג"כ הפ"נ שלו וכפי הענינים הרשומים בו. ושמחתי לקרא במכתבו מי"ג ניסן, אשר בחלק מהם עכ"פ כבר בא תיקון וגם הוא מודה על זה. ובטח גם בשאר הענינים יראה הטבת המצב בטוב הנראה והנגלה.
...מה שנדמה לו שסובל מהתרגשות הלב וכו', הנה קרוב לודאי שאין זה אלא ענין של דמיון ועכ"פ של נערוון בלבד. כדי לפצות את דעת עצמו בטח יבקר רופא מומחה במקצוע זה ויעשה כפי הוראותיו. זהו בנוגע לדרך הטבע. ובנוגע לפנימיות הענינים, הנה יתקע מחשבתו בחוזק באמונה פשוטה שיש לכל ישראל מאמינים בני מאמינים אשר הקב"ה שברא העולם לפני ה"א תיש"א שנה הנה בכל רגע ורגע הוא בורא את העולם ומנהיגו כפי רצונו, שהוא תכלית הטוב, ומטבע הטוב להיטיב. וא"כ פשוט אשר גם עניניו הם נכללים בזה, שבחייו ובעניניו הרי הקב"ה הוא הבע"ב והוא ינחהו למחוז חפצו (פנימיות הרצון של כל אחד ואחד מישראל, שלכן מהנ[י] כשכופין אותו עד שיאמר רוצה אני בדברים שעפ"י תורה). ויה"ר שינחהו באהבה מגולה בחסדים וברחמים, און איר זאלט זיך ארויסנעמען פון קאפ די אלע זאכן פון נערוון וכו', א חסיד דארף זיין א געזונטער ניט נאר ברוחניות נאר בגשמיות אויך, כדי שהוא ועל ידו תתמלא השליחות שבשבילה ירדה נשמתו לעוה"ז התחתון הגשמי והחומרי.

I received your letters in due time; when I was at the Ohel of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, I also read your pidyon nefesh and as per the matters written therein. I was glad to read in your letter from the 13th of Nissan that at least some of these matters have already improved, and you acknowledge this as well. Surely you will also see improvement in the other matters with visible and revealed good.
Regarding what you feel as suffering from heart agitation and so on—it is almost certain that this is only a matter of imagination or at most just nerves. To put your mind at ease, you should certainly visit a specialist doctor in this field and follow his instructions. This is regarding the natural approach.
As for the inner aspect: firmly set your thoughts with simple faith—the faith that all Jews possess as believers, descendants of believers—that the Holy One, blessed be He, who created the world over 5,711 years ago, creates and directs it every moment according to His will, which is absolute goodness; and it is the nature of good to do good. Therefore it is obvious that your affairs are included in this too: in your life and matters, Hashem is the Master and He will guide you to your desired destination (the inner will of every Jew—therefore when one is compelled until he says "I want," regarding things according to Torah). May it be His will that He guide you with revealed love, kindness, and mercy; and you should remove from your mind all these issues of nerves and so on—a chassid must be healthy not only spiritually but also physically so that he—and through him—can fulfill the mission for which his soul descended into this lowly physical world.

The Rebbe teaches us to combine practical action with unwavering trust in Hashem's goodness. Both spiritual faith and physical health are essential for fulfilling our unique mission in this world.
