נהניתי לקבל מכתבו על ידי הרב רייניץ שי' מצעירי אגודת חב"ד בקשר לשמחת פורים במחנה "מעשי-ה[ו]", ואתו הסליחה שלא נעניתי קודם לכן, עקב הטרדות הרבות.
ויהי רצון שהבית שבהשגחה העליונה מר המנהל בו, ייהפך מבית הסוהר כפשוטו לבית סהר (סיהרא, הירח) שתפקידו
להאיר על הארץ
, היינו שכל הנכנס לבית זה באיזה מצב שיהי', יצא מתוכו במצב של ירח במילואו להאיר על הארץ, על ידי היותו דוגמא חי' לחיים הראויים לשמם בכלל, ולחיים בארצנו הק' בפרט,

אשר תמיד עיני ה' אלקיך בה מראשית השנה ועד אחרית שנה. והרי זה תלוי בעיקר בתוכניות מתאימות באופן הנהלת המחנה וכו' וזכות הרבים מסייעת.

I was pleased to receive your letter through Rabbi Reinitz shlita from Tzeirei Agudas Chabad regarding the Purim celebration at Maaseh-H[O] Camp. Please forgive me for not responding earlier due to many preoccupations.
May it be G‑d's will that the institution which, by Divine Providence, you manage will be transformed from a literal prison (Beit HaSoher) into a "Beit Sahar" (Sihara—the moon), whose role is to illuminate the earth. That is, everyone who enters this place in whatever state they may be should leave like a full moon—illuminating the earth—by being a living example of a life worthy of its name in general and especially of life in our holy land, a land upon which "the eyes of the L‑rd your G‑d are always upon it from the beginning of the year to its end."
This depends mainly on suitable programs and proper management of the camp, etc., and the merit of the many helps.
