Shalom u'Vrachah!
With pleasure I received the news about the event being arranged in honor of your tenth anniversary serving in the rabbinate. Beyond the matter itself, this demonstrates that the organizers and participants of the event properly appreciate the significance of the rabbinate—that is, they value our precious Torah, a Torah of truth and life, and its mitzvos about which it is said "v'chai bahem" (and you shall live by them), meaning in daily life everywhere and at all times. One of the main principles here is that this Torah shall never be replaced.
May it be G‑d's will that, in accordance with one of our Torah's primary directives—ascending in holiness—all members of the community and its leaders, with you at their head as rabbi of this sacred congregation, go from strength to strength to elevate themselves in holiness in their daily lives. May it be fulfilled for them, among all Israel, according to these auspicious days of this month: to increase light and joy and gladness and honor—light meaning Torah, etc.—and "no verse departs from its simple meaning": light and joy and gladness and honor.
