In these days, as the Alter Rebbe says, anyone who wishes may approach the King, the Holy One Blessed be He, in the field, and He receives everyone with a pleasant countenance and shows a smiling face to all. May it be His will that each of us does likewise and makes good and practical resolutions according to the King's will. And with a pleasant countenance, may the King bless you to fulfill them completely and in a manner as it is said: 'Kemoft hayiti laRabim v'Atah Machsi Oz' ("I have been as a wonder to many, but You are my strong refuge").

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that during Elul, everyone can approach Hashem directly. By making sincere resolutions and acting joyfully, we merit Hashem's blessings to fulfill our commitments fully.
