Shalom u'Vrachah!
To the shluchim, may they live and be well, who argued: 'Why should we be left out?' (regarding the matter of the shekel of religion, etc.)
a) This is similar to what our Sages say (Yoma 87a): 'One who sees, etc., does not see, etc.'
b) On the contrary—in shlichus it is doubled: two shekels.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that in matters of shlichus, rather than feeling left out or diminished, one's merit and reward are actually doubled—symbolized by receiving two shekels instead of one.
