Shalom u'Vrachah!

In response to your letter from the 10th of Cheshvan regarding whether to undergo surgery, you should ask a Rav who is an authority in halachah if it is permitted, and act according to his ruling.

Certainly, you are studying our holy Torah diligently and fulfilling its mitzvos as required, and may Hashem grant you success.

In the name of my honored father-in-law, the Rebbe, shlita.
