Shalom u'Vrachah!

I will mention at the Tziyun regarding the content of your letter and your merit in exerting yourself with all your strength to reverse the terrible mishap of omitting the word as required concerning giyur—a calamity for Jews both in the Diaspora and in Israel alike. If, G‑d forbid, this does not succeed, then it is imperative that all religious ministers leave the government (for their continued presence is a clear agreement to this aforementioned omission as representatives of Judaism—G‑d forbid. Especially since it was publicly stated that this version is an achievement and victory for religion). Do everything possible and more; this will stand by you in all that is needed.

Summary

The Rebbe emphasizes unwavering effort to correct omissions in matters of Jewish law, especially those affecting conversion, and underscores that religious integrity must take precedence over political participation when core values are at stake.
