ובמענה לשאלתו – כיון שאשתו תי' נמצאת כבר יותר מחמש שנים בטפול רפואי, למה זה פתאום לנתח? ובכל אופן יתייעצו ויעשו כדעה אחידה דשלשה רופאים מומחים.
מהנכון לבדוק התפילין שלו וכן המזוזות בדירתם שתהיינה כולם כשירות כדין.
והעיקר – התחזקות בהנהגה בחיי היום יומים שתהא מתאימה להוראות תורתנו תורת חיים וקיום מצותי' עליהם

וחי בהם, שנוסף על העיקר שכן הוא ציווי הקב"ה הרי זה גם הדרך לקבלת הברכה בהמצטרך להאדם.

In response to your question—since your wife tichyeh has already been under medical care for more than five years, why suddenly operate? In any case, you should consult and act according to the unanimous opinion of three expert doctors.
It is proper to check your tefillin as well as the mezuzos in your home so that all are kosher according to halachah.
The main thing is to strengthen daily conduct so that it aligns with the directives of our Torah of life and fulfillment of its mitzvos about which it is said "v'chai bahem" (and you shall live by them).
