Here is transcribed the text of the blessing which our master and teacher, the Rebbe shlita, graciously sent to the Gan Yisrael camps in connection with their opening this year.
Memorandum: B"H, Erev Parshat Aleh Be'er Anu Lah, Month of Redemption, 5728, Brooklyn, NY. To Gan Yisrael — may Hashem be upon them and grant them life. Shalom u'Vrachah!
May the opening of Gan Yisrael and your arrival there be at an auspicious and successful time. May success and blessing continue in all matters of Gan Yisrael, both material and spiritual. May Gan Yisrael live up to its name by producing good trees that bear fine fruits. May it be fulfilled in them as it is written: "Yavo Dodi (this refers to the Holy One Blessed be He) l'gani l'ganoni" (My Beloved has come to His garden, to My garden), meaning His dwelling place is established through learning our Torah and fulfilling its mitzvos illuminated with Chassidic light and vitality — as is the will and hope of the Baal HaGeulah (the one redeemed), our master and teacher the Rebbe.
