To each and every Bar Mitzvah boy, orphans of the war in our holy land, may they live long. Shalom u'Vrachah!
I join in your joy upon reaching the age of Bar Mitzvah, and may it be G‑d's will that you accept upon yourself the yoke of our Torah, the Torah of life, and its mitzvos with joy, fulfilling them with health and tranquility as the L‑rd grants peace in the land. The great merit of Torah and mitzvos protects the land and our people wherever they are, casting awe and fear upon every enemy and adversary.
There is a special quality in the mitzvah of tefillin, as our Sages taught: 'All the nations of the earth shall see that the name of Hashem is called upon you, and they shall fear you.' In all this you bring true nachas to your father—may Hashem avenge his blood—who from the World of Truth where he is now watches over what happens to his children, delighting greatly in their good conduct and rejoicing immensely when he sees them advancing from strength to strength in our Torah of truth and its mitzvos.
With mazal tov blessings for your Bar Mitzvah, and blessings for receiving the Torah with joy and inwardness on the upcoming festival of the Giving of Our Torah.
