הנני לאשר קבלת מכתבו מכ' טבת והקודמיו, ות"ח עוד הפעם בעד מנהגו הטוב להודיע מהפעולות בתנועת חב"ד והשתתפותו בהן והשתדלותו לרכוש עוד אוהדים ומשתתפים. כי נוסף לזה שבכלל צריך להיות מאמץ

בקודש בכל עניני טוב, הרי המצב באה"ק ת"ו דורש עילוי אחר עילוי. וכיון
שאין
הקב"ה בא בטרוניא עם בריותיו, הרי נותן האפשרות למלא הדרישה.
לכתבו בסיום מכתבו שיש אצלו הרגשה שיש חוסר תיאום בין הגורמים הפועלים למען חב"ד, הרי כיון שכ' על אתר ומרגיש זה, והריהו מביט בעין יפה, מן הסתם יש יסוד למה שכותב. אבל לאידך מוכרחני להוסיף מיד, שהיות והדברים אמורים באישים חיים, ובפרט בתקופתנו הדורשת במיוחד תוספת חיות והתלהבות וכולי, הרי לגמרי לא כדאי להתערב יותר מדי, וכשעושים חשבון צדק אולי כדאי לוותר על חוסר תיאום – שיש תקוה שמעצמו ישתפר על ידי איתערותא עצמית – ובלבד שתהי' הרגשה של עצמאות אצל העובדים על דרך
קנאת
סופרים תרבה חכמה.
איננו כותב על דבר בריאותו, משמע שהכל בסדר.

I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 20th of Teves and those before it. Once again, I thank you for your good practice of informing me about the activities in the Chabad movement and your participation in them, as well as your efforts to bring in more supporters and participants.
In general, there must always be an effort to ascend in holiness in all good matters; moreover, the current situation in our generation demands elevation after elevation. And since the Holy One, blessed be He, does not make unreasonable demands of His creations, He provides the ability to fulfill this requirement.
At the end of your letter you write that you feel there is a lack of coordination among those working for Chabad. Since you notice this immediately and perceive it positively, there is probably some basis for what you write. However, on the other hand, I must immediately add that since these matters concern living individuals—especially in our times that particularly require increased vitality and enthusiasm—it is really not worthwhile to intervene too much. When making an honest assessment, perhaps it is better to overlook the lack of coordination—there is hope that it will improve on its own through personal awakening—provided that those working feel independent, similar to "Kinas Sofrim Tarbeh Chochmah" (the jealousy among scholars increases wisdom).
