דער אָנזאָג
"גר יהי' זרעך בארץ לא להם" – "דיינע קינדער וועלן זיין פרעמדע אין אַ פרעמד לאַנד". אָבער צוזאַמען מיט דעם אָנזאָג איז געקומען
דער אייביגער ברית
(צוזאַמענבונד) צווישן ג-ט און אברהם אבינו, וואָס האָט פאַרזיכערט די אייביקייט פון אידישן פאָלק אין אַלע צייטן און אין אַלע אומשטענדן. דערביי איז אָנגעוויזן געוואָרן, אַז די דאָזיגע אייביקייט איז דירעקט פאַרבונדן מיט דער דערציאונג פון די קינדער – אָנצוהאַלטן דעם פאַרבונד מיט דעם אויבערשטן, פון דעם קינד'ס געבורט אָן, און אין אַן אופן וואָס פאַרבינדט ניט נאָר די נשמה מיט דעם אויבערשטן נאָר אויך דעם גוף.
אונזערע חכמים זאָגן "מעשה אבות סימן
לבנים"
– די פּאַסירונגען מיט אונזערע אבות זיינען אַן אָנווייזונג און שפּיגלען אָפּ די געשיכטע פון אונזער פאָלק, סיי פון יחיד און סיי פון כלל. די אייביקייט פון אידישן פאָלק איז פאַרבונדן מיט דעם חינוך פון די אידישע קינדער, און דער חינוך פון יעדן קינד איז פאַרבונדן ניט נאָר מיט זיין אייגענער צוקונפט, נאָר אויך מיט דער צוקונפט פון גאַנצן אידישן פאָלק.
אין דעם ליגט די וויכטיקייט פון תורה-טרייען חינוך בכלל, און פון דער ישיבה "אחי תמימים" בפרט, און עס איז קלאָר ווי גרויס עס איז די פליכט – און זכות – פון עלטערן און פון בעלי-בתים און עסקנים אין שטאָט צו פאַרשטאַרקן און אויסברייטערן אַזאַ חינוך-מוסד על טהרת הקודש ווי ישיבת "אחי תמימים".
השם יתברך זאָל יעדן איינעם באַזונדער, און אַלעמען צוזאַמען, מצליח זיין אין דעם אין דער פולסטער מאָס.

To all participants in the annual dinner of Yeshiva Achai Temimim Newark—may Hashem be upon them and grant them life.
Shalom u'Vrachah!
I greet all participants in this annual dinner with the heartfelt wish that this endeavor should be met with great success.
In line with the well-known saying of the Alter Rebbe, author of Tanya and Shulchan Aruch, that a Jew must live with the times—with the times meaning the weekly Torah portion—certainly this week's yeshiva dinner will be infused with the spirit and content of this week's parsha, which begins the story of Avraham Avinu, the first Jew and father of our people.
One of Avraham Avinu's earliest experiences was being told: Ger yihiyeh zaracha b'eretz lo lahem ("Your descendants will be strangers in a land not theirs"). Yet together with this message came an eternal covenant between G‑d and Avraham Avinu, which guaranteed the eternity of the Jewish people in all times and under all circumstances.
It was also indicated that this eternity is directly linked to educating children—to maintaining their bond with Hashem from birth onward, in a way that connects not only their soul but also their body to G‑d.
Our Sages say: Maaseh avot siman lebanim ("The deeds of our ancestors are a sign for their children")—the events experienced by our forefathers serve as guidance and reflect our people's history, both individually and collectively.
The eternity of our people is tied to educating Jewish children; each child's education is connected not only to his own future but also to that of all Israel. This underscores the importance of Torah-true education in general and Yeshiva Achai Temimim in particular. It is clear how great is the duty—and privilege—of parents, householders, and community activists in strengthening and expanding such an institution dedicated to pure holiness like Yeshiva Achai Temimim.
May Hashem bless each individual and everyone together with complete success in this endeavor.
