זה מזמן שרציתי לכתוב לו ולא ידעתי איפה נמצא, ועתה נודעתי שנמצא כבר בא"י והכתובת שלו.
ראשית כל אביעה לו ת"ח בעד הספר, וכיון שהספרי' שלנו היא לתועלת הרבים, תקותי שימשיך בכגון דא גם בעתיד.
תקותי שגם בזכרונו שמורים רשמי פגישתנו ושיחתנו, והעיקר שהדברים שנדברו בינינו בנוגע עניני הכלל, ומהם כמה בעיות הכי חיוניות ורציניות, יביאו פירות ותועלת גם לרבים.
והרי רואים במוחש, ובדורנו זה במיוחד אחרי גלוי האנרגי' הכי מבהילה הנמצאת בכמות הכי קטנה, אשר לפעמים ביכולת היחיד להביא שנוי יסודי בחיי הרבים, כי לא הכמות היא המכרעת אלא האיכות. ואם בחומר ובגשם הדומם כך, על אחת כמה וכמה בחומר וגשם גוף הישראלי וביתר שאת בנוגע לחיים הרוחניים של עמנו בני ישראל.
אלא שעל היחיד לגלות כל האנרגי' שבקרבו, שבאמת אין-סופית היא, ובסגנון רבינו הזקן בעל התניא והשו"ע, שהשנה היא שנת המאה וחמשים להסתלקותו, הנפש השנית בישראל היא חלק אלוק ממעל ממש, וכיון שמקורה באין-סוף ב"ה, הרי היא וכל כוחותי' אין-סופיים.

For some time I wanted to write to you but did not know where you were; now I have learned that you are already in Eretz Yisrael and have your address.
First of all, I express my thanks for the book. Since our library serves the public good, I hope you will continue such activities in the future as well.
I hope that your memory also preserves impressions from our meeting and conversation—and most importantly, that the matters we discussed regarding communal issues—including several of the most vital and serious problems—will bear fruit and benefit many.
It is clearly seen—especially in our generation after the discovery of the most astonishing energy found in even the smallest quantity—that sometimes a single individual can bring about fundamental change in the lives of many; for it is not quantity that determines but quality.
If this is so with material and even inanimate matter, how much more so with regard to the material and physical body of a Jew—and all the more so concerning the spiritual life of our people, Bnei Yisrael.
But it is upon each individual to reveal all the energy within himself—which is truly infinite. In the style of our master, the Alter Rebbe (author of Tanya and Shulchan Aruch), whose one hundred fiftieth yahrzeit falls this year: The second soul in Israel is literally a part of G‑d above; since its source is in Ein Sof (the Infinite One), it and all its powers are infinite.

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that every Jew possesses infinite potential rooted in their Divine soul. Even one person can bring about profound change for many when they reveal their inner energy—quality surpasses quantity both materially and spiritually.
