I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from December 4, 1962, and thank you for your willingness to be of assistance during your time in Persia.

It was especially pleasing to read at the beginning of your letter that during the period you worked on planning and developing the Arad region, you made sure to establish a synagogue worthy of its name; certainly, the same applies regarding other religious institutions.

I hope that those who follow you in developing this region and others will follow your example and continue along this path.

May it be G‑d's will that matters progress in a manner of ever-increasing growth and light, as is taught by the days of Chanukah from which we are coming and by which we are influenced.

It may interest you to know that one of the booklets published by our Merkaz L'Inyonei Chinuch was translated into Persian. For some reason, this effort stopped and the other booklets of this type were not translated. I do not know if this is within your field, but in any case I have not lost by informing you as well.
