איך בין געווען צופרידען צו באקומען אייער בריף פון ג' אלול, וועגען דעם בעפארשטייענדען מיטינג פאר באנייטע טעטיגקייט אויף דעם קומענדיגען יאר, לטובת דער ישיבה הק' תומכי תמימים, אין דער נייער געביידע פון דער ישיבה הק'.
און געוויס וועט יעדע איינע פון אייך און אלע צוזאמען באנייען די טעטיגקייט מיט פרישען מוט און ערנסטע איבערגעבענהייט אפשאצענדיק די וויכטיקייט און נויטיקייט פון דעם מוסד התורה תמימה וועלכער פאראייניקט תורה הנגלית והפנימית, און בריינגט ארויס די נקודת היהדות הפנימית, - דעם אינוועניגסטען פינטעל איד - אויך אין דער אויסערליכקייט, אין טאג טעגליכער אויפפירונג, אין אלע הינזיכטען לויט דער אנווייזונג פון תורתנו הק' תורת חיים הנגלית והפנימית.
און ווי חכמנו ז"ל זאגען, אז מדתו של הקב"ה איז מדה כנגד מדה, נאר כמה פעמים ככה,
וועט אייער ארבעט לטובת דער ישיבה הק', אויך ארויסבריינגן די פנימיות פון רצון העליון - דעם אמת'ן אינערליכען ווילען פון השם יתברך - וועלכער וויל דאך גוטעס טאן יעדען אידען, אין דער אויסערליקייט בטוב הנראה והנגלה, אנזעהוודיגען און פילבארן אמת'גוט און וואהלזיין.
איך ווינש אייך גרויס הצלחה אין אייער ארבעט, און מיט אנקומען פון דעם נייעם יאר, א כתיבה וחתימה טובה פאר יעדערן פון אייך מיט אייערע פאמיליעס תחיינה.

I was pleased to receive your letter from 3 Elul regarding the upcoming meeting for renewed activity for the coming year, for the benefit of the holy Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim, in the new building of the holy Yeshiva.
Surely each one of you and all together will renew your activities with fresh spirit and serious dedication, appreciating the importance and necessity of this Torah institution Tomchei Temimim, which unites revealed and inner Torah, and brings out the inner point of Jewishness—the innermost spark of a Jew—even in outward behavior, in daily conduct, in all aspects according to the guidance of our holy Torah, a Torah of life both revealed and inner.
And as our Sages of blessed memory say, that the measure of the Holy One is measure for measure—only many times over—your work for the benefit of this holy Yeshiva will also bring out the inner aspect of the Supreme Will—the true inner desire of Hashem Yisbarach—Who desires to do good to every Jew, also outwardly with visible and apparent good, perceivable and tangible true goodness and well-being.
I wish you great success in your work, and with the arrival of the new year, a kesivah vachasimah tovah for each one of you with your families. May you be inscribed for good news in all that was mentioned above.
