Kavod to the participants in the farbrengen of the bright day of Chai Elul, may Hashem be upon them and grant them life.

Shalom u'Vrachah!

It was with pleasure that I received the news regarding your farbrengen on the bright day of Chai Elul, the birthday of the two great luminaries, the Baal Shem Tov and the Alter Rebbe. In addition to the greatness of a farbrengen in general—as explained in a letter from my father-in-law, the Rebbe, printed in Kuntres Tehillim—how much more so when it is held on such a meritorious day as mentioned above. It is well known that every year these matters return to their original state and are awakened anew. May it be G‑d's will that the light of these luminaries shine in your lives and ours within all of Klal Yisrael, extending even to thought, speech, and action.

And very soon we will merit the fulfillment of the promise: "Yafutzu Maayanosecha Chutzah v'Ka'asi Mar Da Malka Meshicha" ("Your wellsprings will spread outward and then I will come—the Master, King Moshiach").
