In response to your letter, in which you write a summary of your life story and mention that you teach music both in a school and privately. Certainly, it is unnecessary to elaborate on the Mishnah's statement: "I was created to serve my Creator," which is accomplished by fulfilling His will through Torah study and observance of mitzvos. From this it is understood that in whatever profession a person engages, it is clear that there is also the possibility to spread authentic Judaism and its matters among those with whom one comes into contact and connection—how much more so if the connection is that of teacher and student. Every student always has feelings of love and respect for the teacher; this also enables the student to accept the teacher's words even outside the professional field, as can be seen clearly. Especially since, according to your letter, most of your students are youth, any improvement or correction in their situation is an improvement for their future matters—primarily in building their Jewish home. From all this it is understood that every effort and endeavor in this area is worthwhile.

Regarding what you wrote about entering to study at Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim in Lod and detailing several obstacles preventing you from doing so: In general, the practical question will arise only in about a month or more after the summer break when there will be an organized schedule at the yeshiva. It is possible that during this time some of the issues you mentioned will be resolved.

Regarding what you wrote about having debts and therefore needing to continue working in your profession even after entering yeshiva in order to pay off these debts: You should certainly discuss this with the yeshiva administration. There are several possibilities for arranging things so that you can fulfill all the yeshiva's requirements. As it says: "Salvation comes with many counselors."

May it be G‑d's will—the Creator and Guide of the world Who supervises each individual with Divine Providence—that you ascend from strength to strength on the path of Torah and mitzvahs. This path leads Jewish men and women to true happiness both materially and spiritually. I look forward to receiving good news from you regarding all of the above.
