ויהי רצון שיבשר בשורות טובות בהענינים אודותם כותב, ומתאים לתחלת ויסוד פרשיות אלו, ועשו לי מקדש ושכנתי בתוכם, וביארו חז"ל, בתוכו לא נאמר, אלא בתוכם בתוך כל אחד ואחד.
שבודאי ע"פ הכלל, אין מקרא יוצא מידי פשוטו, קשור זה גם עם ועשו לי מקדש, שגם במקדש שוכן אלא שהעיקר הוא בתוכם, ועשיית המקדש ושכינה במקדש עי"ז הענין דושכנתי בתוכם.
וכמובן ג"כ מהמשך מאמר ההילולא של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר נשיא ישראל, באתי לגני לגנוני, יעו"ש.
ויהי רצון שיהי' בכל הענינים, הן בהפעולות בעולם (ועשו לי מקדש) והן בהפעולות בעצמו (ושכנתי בתוכם) בבריאות ובעשירות, שהרי הורונו חז"ל, דמקדש מקום עשירות הוא (עיין תמיד כט, א ברש"י ד"ה אבל) דכל מעשיהם בעושר ובשררה.

I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 20th of Shevat. May it be G‑d's will that you share good news regarding the matters you wrote about, in accordance with the beginning and foundation of these Torah portions: 'VeAsu Li Mikdash V'Shachanti B'Tocham' ("They shall make Me a sanctuary and I will dwell among them"). Our Sages explained that it does not say 'within it,' but rather 'among them'—within each and every individual. Certainly, according to the principle that a verse never departs from its simple meaning, this is also connected to 'they shall make Me a sanctuary,' for even in the sanctuary itself He dwells; however, the main thing is within them. The making of the sanctuary and the Divine Presence in the sanctuary is through this idea of 'I will dwell among them.'
This is also evident from the continuation of the Maamar for the yahrzeit of my father-in-law, the previous Rebbe, leader of Israel: 'Bati LeGani LeG'nuni' ("I have come into My garden, My bridal chamber")—see there at length.
May it be G‑d's will that in all matters—both in one's actions in the world ('they shall make Me a sanctuary') and in one's actions within oneself ('I will dwell among them')—there be health and prosperity. For our Sages taught that the Mikdash is a place of wealth (see Tamid 29a with Rashi s.v. aval), as all their deeds were done with wealth and grandeur.

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that building a sanctuary for G‑d means both creating holy spaces in our environment and cultivating holiness within ourselves. By doing so with health and abundance, we fulfill both aspects of "they shall make Me a sanctuary and I will dwell among them."
