במענה למכתבו מעש"ק עם המצורף אליו בו כותב אודות הצעת נכבדות, ולהבעיא מי יהיו השושבינין המוליכים את החתן או את הכלה אל החופה.
יש לעשות כמו ששני הצדדים יתדברו בזה, ומה טוב שלא החתן ולא הכלה יתערבו בענין.
ולכתבו אודות חופה תחת כפת השמים, - הרי כיון שהובא זה בכ"מ וכמה טעמים בדבר, תקותי חזקה שכולם יסכימו לעשות באופן האמור, ז.א. תחת כפת השמים, ואפילו כשנעשית החתונה באולם שכולו מקורה יכולה החופה להיות בחוץ בסמיכות להאולם, וכמו שהי' כבר בכמה וכמה חתונות כאן.
ויהי רצון שיתברכו בככוכבי השמים (שגם זה אחד הטעמים להאמור, וק"ל).
וכאן עלי החובה (והזכות) לעוררו על ההכרח בקביעות שיעור לימוד בפנימיות התורה, אשר בדורנו נתגלתה בתורת החסידות, ואם בכל הזמנים ובכל המקומות הי' הכרח בזה, עאכו"כ בתקופתנו ובמדינות אלו ביחוד.

In response to your letter from Erev Shabbat Kodesh with its attachment, in which you write about an important proposal and raise the question of who should be the shushvinin (escorts) leading the groom or bride to the chuppah: This should be decided through discussion between both sides, and it is best if neither the groom nor the bride gets involved in this matter.
Regarding your question about holding the chuppah under the open sky: Since this has been mentioned in many places and there are several reasons for it, I strongly hope that everyone will agree to do it as stated—that is, under the open sky. Even if the wedding takes place in a fully covered hall, the chuppah can be outside adjacent to the hall, as has already been done at many weddings here.
May it be G‑d's will that you be blessed like the stars of heaven (which is also one of the reasons for this practice—this is well understood).
Here I must (and have the merit to) remind you of the necessity for a fixed schedule of study in Pnimiyus HaTorah, which in our generation has been revealed through Toras HaChassidus. If at all times and places this was necessary, how much more so in our era and especially in these countries.
