Shalom u'Vrachah!
After the long break, your letter from the 12th of Tammuz—the day of redemption of the Rebbe Rayatz, may his merit protect us, and our own redemption—was received. Once again you present various reasons and excuses for not increasing your study of Chassidus, along with doubts about whether this is relevant to you, etc.
In such matters, examine for yourself the source of these doubts by observing their outcome: do they lead to an increase in Torah and mitzvos or the opposite? See also Hayom Yom for the 23rd of Sivan regarding this test.
Regarding your question about whether studying Chassidus is relevant to you—it is well known from the Alter Rebbe, author of Tanya (the halachic authority in the hidden dimension of Torah) and Shulchan Aruch (the halachic authority in the revealed dimension), that Chassidus is the inheritance of all Jews; it depends only on time.
You write about what is explained—that a person's mission is measured by the opposition and difficulties he encounters when trying to fulfill it—and you ask how to clarify things when there is opposition to all mitzvos. In any case, it is not equal regarding all mitzvos, as can be clearly observed.
The conclusion: "Fear G‑d and keep His commandments, for this is the whole man"—regarding increasing study in our holy Torah (both Nigleh and Chassidus), enhancing mitzvah observance with greater care, and doing so in a manner that continually increases. This automatically increases light, causing many difficulties—darkness—to be nullified from the outset.
Blessings for good news in all mentioned above, in the name of the Rebbe Shlita's secretary.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that doubts about learning Chassidus should be examined by their outcomes; true growth comes from overcoming obstacles. Every Jew has a share in Chassidus, and increasing Torah study and mitzvah observance brings more light to dispel spiritual darkness.
