לאחרי הפסק הכי ארוך נתקבל מכתבו מח' תמוז, בו כותב ר"פ מפעולותיו בקדש בשיעורי לימוד ובחינוך על טהרת הקדש.
ותקותי חזקה אף שאינו מזכיר עד"ז, שעושה ככל יכולתו גם בהפצת הלימוד דהלכות הצריכות בכל החוגים ובכל הגילים, שהרי רואים במוחש עד כמה חסרה הידיעה דוקא בהלכות אלו ולא רק בהנוגע למנהג חומרא והידור מצוה, כ"א להמצוה עצמה, ולאו דוקא מצוה דרבנן, כ"א גם וכו', ועד לאופן הכי מבהיל. ואם בזמן רבנו הזקן הרעישו ע"ד לימוד הלכות אלו, וכנראה גם מההקדמה לשו"ע רבנו הזקן, עאכו"כ בתקופתנו זו ובמדינות האלו, וק"ל. והרי באתרי' נקל עוד לפעול בזה. וכידוע המשל שזריעה ונטיעה בקרקע בתולה אין דורשת עבודה ויגיעה לעקור זמורות זרות וכו'.
ובבואנו ז"ע מימי הגאולה י"ב וי"ג תמוז, שמסר נפשו בעל הגאולה והשמחה, על כגון דא, אף שבדרך הטבע לא הי' נראה כל מקום להצלחה, במלחמה נגד משטר אדיר כ"כ, ובכל זה עשו פעלו וסו"ס ראו פירות הכי טובים, ועתה רואים גם פרי פירות.
ועאכו"כ כשנמצאים בארץ חירות [...] ובתקופה שהשעה דורשת, בוא ועשה. ויהי רצון שינצל כל האפשריות והכחות שניתנו לו במילואן, ויעשה זה מתוך שמחה וטוב לבב - שגם זה יוסיף בהצלחה בהנוגע לפועל.

After the longest break, your letter from the 8th of Tammuz was received, in which you write at length about your holy activities in teaching classes and education in purity and holiness. My strong hope is—though you do not mention it—that you are also doing all you can to spread the study of practical halachot among all circles and ages. It is clearly seen how much knowledge is lacking specifically in these laws—not only regarding customs, stringencies, or enhancements of mitzvahs, but concerning the mitzvah itself, and not only rabbinic mitzvahs but also etc., sometimes in a most alarming way.
If in the time of Rabbeinu HaZaken there was a great outcry about learning these halachot—as is evident from his introduction to Shulchan Aruch Rabbeinu HaZaken—how much more so in our times and in these countries. And it is even easier to accomplish this in your locale. It is well known that sowing and planting in virgin soil does not require hard work to uproot foreign shoots etc.
As we approach these days of redemption—Yud-Beis and Yud-Gimmel Tammuz—when the Baal HaGeulah risked his life for such matters, even though naturally there seemed no chance for success against such a mighty regime; nevertheless, they acted and ultimately saw the best fruits—and now we see even their fruits' fruits. How much more so when one is found in a land of freedom [...] and at a time when the moment demands: come and act.
May it be G‑d's will that you utilize all possibilities and strengths given to you fully, and do so with joy and gladness of heart—for this too will add to your success in practice.
