במענה למכתבו מב' תמוז, בו כותב אודות השינוים שחלו בכתתו, ואשר מכמה טעמים לא נראים לו שינוים אלו, והתייעץ עם אחדים מהנמצאים בישיבה ובהנהלה וגם הם דעתם כדעתו, ושואל מה עליו לעשות.
והנה מובן וגם פשוט שכל עניני הישיבה יש לעשותם כהוראת ההנהלה שהרי בכל מוסד קיומו תלוי בהמשמעת להנהלת המוסד, אלא שבהנ"ל עליו לבאר לההנהלה את הטעמים שלו, ובטח כבר עשה זה, וכן יכול לבקש את אלו שהתייעץ עמהם שידברו ג"כ עם ההנהלה, אבל כל זה הוא בדרך הצעת דברים, ובהנוגע לפועל מוכרחת המשמעת וכנ"ל ענין עיקרי הוא.

In response to your letter from the 2nd of Tammuz, in which you write about the changes that have occurred in your class, and for several reasons these changes do not seem appropriate to you. You consulted with some of those present in the yeshiva and in the administration, and they share your opinion. You ask what you should do.
It is clear and obvious that all matters of the yeshiva must be carried out according to the instructions of the administration, for in every institution its existence depends on discipline toward its leadership. However, regarding this matter, you should explain your reasons to the administration—and surely you have already done so—and you can also ask those with whom you consulted to speak as well with the administration. But all this is by way of presenting suggestions; when it comes to practical action, discipline is essential as mentioned above—this is a fundamental matter.
The response to your previous letter has surely already been received by now.
