לאחרי שתיקתו הארוכה נתקבל מכתבו הארוך, בו כותב תולדות ימי חייו עד לזמן האחרון, מהות התלמידים עליהם משפיע כו'.
ונעם לי לקרות בסיום מכתבו, אשר סו"ס ראה את האור כי טוב הגנוז בפנימיות התורה תורת החסידות, ואשר דוקא בדורנו זה זכו שנתגלתה על פני תבל וחוצות. ותקותי חזקה אשר יוסיף בלימודו בזה ככל האפשרי והדרוש, ועוד זאת, אשר מתאים לפסק המשנה לא המדרש עיקר אלא המעשה, יוסיף בהדרכת תורת החסידות ומנהגי' בהנוגע לעצמו ובהנוגע לסביבתו. וכבר ידוע פסק בי"ד של מעלה, אשר בגלל המס"נ של רבנו הזקן על תורת החסידות, פסקו בבי"ד של מעלה, אשר בכל ענין של תורה יראת שמים ומדות טובות תהי' יד מקושריו והולכי בעקבותיו על העליונה, וכמסופר במכתב כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, הידוע.
נעם לי ממה שממשיך בפעולות ... ובטח יעורר את הנהלת צעירי אגודת חב"ד דירושלים ת"ו שצריך לחפש עצות וגם תחבולות איך להרחיב פעולות אלו, כי הרי זוהי דרישת השעה, ויהי רצון שגם בזה יבשר טוב בהקדם.
בברכת הצלחה בעבודתו בקדש עם זולתו, שעי"ז יתוסף ג"כ בהצלחת השי"ת בעבודתו עם עצמו, ובפרט - תוספת בעבודה קדושה הנ"ל.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
After your long silence, your lengthy letter was received, in which you write about the events of your life up to recent times, the nature of the students upon whom you have influence, etc.
It pleased me to read at the end of your letter that you have finally seen the light—that it is good—hidden within the inner teachings of Torah, namely Chasidus. Especially in our generation, we have merited that it has been revealed throughout the world and even in public spaces.
My strong hope is that you will continue to increase your study in this area as much as possible and necessary. Furthermore, as per the ruling of the Mishnah—not study but action is primary—you should increase your guidance in Chasidus and its customs both regarding yourself and those around you.
It is already well known—the ruling from the Heavenly Court—that due to the self-sacrifice of Rabbeinu HaZaken for Chasidus, it was decreed Above that in every matter of Torah, fear of Heaven, and good character traits, his followers and those who walk in his path will prevail. This is as related in a letter from my revered father-in-law, whose memory is blessed and whose merit protects us—the well-known story.
I am pleased that you continue these activities... Surely you will encourage the leadership of Tzeirei Agudas Chabad in Jerusalem to seek strategies and even tactics for expanding these activities, for this is what is required at this time. May it be G‑d's will that you will soon share good news about this as well.
With blessings for success in your holy work with others—through which there will also be increased Divine success in your own service—especially an increase in the aforementioned holy work. And with blessings for fear of Heaven.
