I am pleased to enclose here a check for $991 (which is approximately equivalent to $500 Canadian) for the construction and completion of your mikveh—by completion I mean also according to the opinions of those who are most stringent. I promised that the name of the departed woman of blessed memory will be inscribed there, and perhaps also the names of living individuals; when the details are clarified, the secretariat will inform your honor.

May it be the will of Hashem that "the desire of G‑d in their hands will succeed," to draw purity into world, year, and soul—and may this serve as an introduction and close preparation for the complete and true redemption of all Israel, as hinted at in Tosefos Yom Tov at the end of tractate Yoma. Likewise, these are the words of Rambam (at the end of Hilchos Mikvaos regarding immersion and ultimately about the coming of Mashiach at the end of Hilchos Melachim).
