Haraha"ch vavac"h iy"a nu"n oseik b'tzt"z etc. Moreinu HaRav Nissan Eber
Shalom u'Vrachah!
b) As relayed to me by Haraha"ch vavac"h iy"a nu"n oseik b'tzt"z Harav Meir Chaim Aharon Chadakov from the content of your letter to him, it seems that until now you have not received confirmation that I received the precious gift you sent me. It is a handwritten note from my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, a small slip in quantity but exceedingly great in quality on the discourse "El Elokim Hashem." I hereby confirm its receipt herewith and add many thanks for your precious gift. I hope that over time it will be possible to publish at least some excerpts from it with some explanation for the benefit of the public—and the merit of the many depends on you.
c) Regarding what you wrote about the time for eating bread in the morning: see Piskei Dinim of tzt"z on Orach Chaim section 89, where his conclusion is that "morning bread" is after prayer. However, if doctors advise that one must eat specifically every morning, one should certainly follow their instructions; but this is not the "morning bread" mentioned in the Talmud. Especially in these matters, it depends on one's manner of service in prayer—if it is lengthy or not, etc. It is known the saying of tzt"z: "It is better to eat because of davening than to daven because of eating." Simply put: it is better to eat before prayer if this will make your prayer more orderly than to eat only after prayer and then have your service disturbed by hunger, etc.—and this suffices.
d) Regarding the list of maamarim found in the notebook at your relative's place: it would be worthwhile to try to have them lend me the notebook for some time. They can be assured that if it is on condition to return it, I will do so. If under no circumstances can this be arranged, perhaps you can review and compare the maamarim as explained in the list you attached to your letter. I have added a maamar from printed books—to clarify whether this is indeed the same maamar and topics or only shares an opening phrase. Many thanks for your efforts in this matter.
Blessings for proper health for you and all your family and for receiving the Torah with joy and inwardness.
Summary
