במענה על מכתבו ממוצש"ק וירא, בו מודיע אשר תובעים ממנו שילך להקאנסול לקבל הוויזה, ואשר הנסיעה תהי' ג"כ מיד, ומבקש להשיבו איך לעשות בזה:
הנה בכלל אינני מבין מהי הבהלה שנתהווה עתה בין אנ"ש שיחיו בצרפת, להעתיק משם, ולילך לחפש חדשות במדינות אחרות, ובפרט שהן יודעים כבר ממצב המדינות שאין ההסתדרות בשם בנקל, וכבר גליתי דעתי מאז, שצריכים היו להתענין בהעתקה למדינת מאראקא שהיא בסמיכות לצרפת, ויש שם כר נרחב לכמה מסוגי אנ"ש ובפרט לאותם המסוגלים לעבודה בשדה החינוך, נוסף על העבודה שישנה עדיין בצרפת בכלל ובפרט בפאריז בשדה החינוך והחזקת היהדות.
ובנוגע אליו בפרט, הרי כיון שהגיש הניירות וכבר קיבל הניירות מכל המוסדות, ודוחקים אותו שילך להקאנסול, הרי אם אי אפשר לו להמשיך את הדבר, ילך ויקבל, והשי"ת ינחנו למחוז חפצו האמיתי הוא חפץ ה' ויסתדרו באופן המתאים לפניהם בגשמיות וברוחניות.

In response to your letter from Motzaei Shabbat Vayeira, in which you inform me that you are being asked to go to the consulate to receive a visa, and that the trip would also be immediate, and you ask how to proceed:
In general, I do not understand the rush that has now arisen among Anash in France to relocate from there and seek new opportunities in other countries—especially since they already know the situation in those countries is not easy for settling. I have already expressed my opinion that efforts should have been made to move to Morocco, which is close to France and offers a broad field for various types of Anash, particularly those suited for work in education. This is in addition to the work that still exists in France generally and especially in Paris in the field of education and strengthening Judaism.
Regarding you specifically: since you have submitted your papers and already received documents from all institutions, and they are pressing you to go to the consulate—if it is not possible for you to delay this matter further, then go and receive it. May Hashem guide you toward your true desired destination—which is the will of Hashem—and may things be arranged appropriately for you both materially and spiritually.
