מכתבו מעש"ק פ' חקת (משווייצרי') הגיעני, ובינתיים קבלתי גם מכתבו מט"ו סיון מירושלים ת"ו. ותשואות חן חן לכת"ר על כתבו בפרוטרוט על דבר מצב הענינים בנוגע לחזית הדתית בארה"ק ת"ו ומאמציו להחיותה.
כפי שאמרתי לכת"ר במשך שיחתנו, כתבתי לאה"ק ת"ו את חוו"ד ע"ד ההשתתפות בבחירות, אשר מחוייבים כל אחד ואחת "להשתתף בבחירות ולהצביע בעד הרשימות החרדיות ביותר ולהשפיע בזה גם על זולתם", וכבקשתו הודעתי עד"ז לאגודת חב"ד גם במברק, ובטח כבר פירסמו את זה באופן המתאים.
כבקשתו במכתבו, הנה כשאהי' על ציון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע אזכירו לברכה והצלחה, והשי"ת יחזק בריאותו ויוסיף חיל במלחמתה של תורה, ויראה ברכה והצלחה בעניניו, עניני הכלל והפרט.

Your letter from Erev Shabbat Kodesh Parshat Chukat (from Switzerland) has reached me, and in the meantime I have also received your letter from the 15th of Sivan from Jerusalem. Many thanks to you for your detailed writing regarding the situation concerning the religious front in Eretz Yisrael and your efforts to revive it.
As I told you during our conversation, I have written to Eretz HaKodesh my opinion regarding participation in the elections: that everyone is obligated "to participate in the elections and to vote for the most observant lists and to influence others as well." As you requested, I have also notified Agudas Chabad about this by telegram, and they have surely already publicized it appropriately.
As you requested in your letter, when I am at the resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), I will mention you for blessing and success. May Hashem strengthen your health and increase your strength in the battle for Torah, and may you see blessing and success in all your matters—both communal and personal.
