בנועם קבלתי את הדו"ח ע"ד ההתועדויות והאסיפות לחיזוק התורה והיהדות בכלל ותורת החסידות בפרט בעת היות במחנם הרה"ח וו"ח אי"א נו"נ עוסק בצצ"ב וכו' מהור"ר בן ציון שי' שם טוב שד"ר, ותקותי אשר מאחר שהמתחיל במצוה אומרים לו המשך וגמור, במילא לא יסתפקו בבחירת הועדים ובהתחלת ההתעסקות בכל הענינים, אלא ג"כ ימשיכו בזה וכדרך כל דבר שבקדושה יהי' הולך וגדול ומעלין בקדש (עייג"כ אגה"ק סי"ד), ות"ח מראש על הבשורות טובות מהתפתחות הענינים בהצלחה, מזמן לזמן...
אסיים בשל עתה לעוררם אשר בטח ינצלו את ימי חג הגאולה יב-יג תמוז הבע"ל באופן המתאים לפי תנאי המקום והזמן שיהי' ניכר גם בקנדה שזהו חג גאולתנו ופדות נפשנו, ויביא להתעוררות והתחזקות בכל הענינים המדוברים במכתב כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר (נדפס בקונטרס נט).

I received with pleasure the report about the farbrengens and gatherings to strengthen Torah and Judaism in general, and the teachings of Chassidus in particular, during the time that among you was Haraha"ch vavac"h iy"a nu"n engaged in tzt"z etc. Moreh Horav Ben Tzion Shem Tov shadar. My hope is that since "one who begins a mitzvah is told: continue and complete it," therefore you will not suffice with just appointing committees and beginning involvement in all these matters, but will also continue in this work. As with all matters of holiness, it should always increase and ascend in holiness (see also Iggeres HaKodesh sec. 14). Thank you in advance for good news about the successful development of these matters from time to time...
I will conclude for now by urging you to surely utilize the days of the Festival of Redemption — Yud-Beis–Yud-Gimmel Tammuz — which are approaching, in a manner appropriate to your local circumstances so that it will be evident even in Canada that this is our festival of redemption and the liberation of our soul. This should lead to awakening and strengthening in all the matters discussed in my father-in-law the Rebbe's letter (printed in Kuntres Net). Please convey regards to the entire group, and with blessings for success in your holy work — for this is also the channel through which all material and spiritual good is drawn down into both your personal and communal affairs.
