הַמַאֲמִין בְּהַשְׁגָחָה פְּרָטִית יֹודֵע כִּי מֵהַ' (מֵהַשֵׁם) מִצְעַדֵי גֶבֶר כֹּונָנוּ, אַשֶׁר נְשָׁמָה זוּ צְרִיכָה לְבַרֵר וּלְתַקֵן אֵיזֶה בִּירוּר וְתִּיקוּן בְּמָקֹום פּלֹונִי.
וּמֵאֹות בַּשָׁנִים אֹו גַם מִשַׁעַת בְּרִיאַת הָעֹולָם הִנֵה הַדָבָר שֶׁצָרִיך לְהִתְבַּרֵר אֹו לְהִתְתַּקֵן מְחַכֶּה לְאֹותָה הַנְשָׁמָה שֶׁתָּבֹוא לְבַרְרֹו וּלְתַקְנֹו וְגַם נְשָׁמָה הַלָזוּ הִנֵה מֵאָז נֶאְצָלָה וְנְבְרָאָה הִיא מְחַכָּה לִזְמַן יְרִידָתָה לְבַרֵר וּלְתַקֵן אֶת אַשֶׁר הוּטַל עָלֶיהָ.
One who believes in Divine Providence knows that from Hashem, a person's steps are established; that this particular soul needs to clarify and rectify a certain refinement and correction in a specific place. For hundreds of years, or even from the moment of the world's creation, the matter that needs to be refined or corrected has been waiting for that soul to come and accomplish its task. Likewise, this very soul, since it was emanated and created, has been waiting for the time of its descent to refine and correct what has been assigned to it.
