I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from the day that "ki tov" was doubled, and may it be G‑d's will that your desire will succeed—to spread traditional Judaism without compromise, etc., in every way and especially through your writings. May you do this with health, joy, and a good heart.

Indeed, bringing the word of G‑d to our fellow Jews is the loftiest expression of Ahavas Yisrael—the fulfillment of the mitzvah "Ve'ahavta l'rei'acha kamocha" (love your fellow as yourself), which is a great principle in Torah. Especially according to the saying of our Rebbe the Alter Rebbe, author of Tanya and Shulchan Aruch, that loving your fellow as yourself and loving Hashem your G‑d are interconnected and dependent on each other. All this is explained in his discourses and in many talks of our Rebbeim in general—many of which have already been printed—and certainly for you there is no need for lengthy elaboration.
