In response to the suggestion—it is simple that there is no place (and no honor at all) for printing a picture P on a stamp. I am surprised by those who think it is a great honor... to strike (by means of the postal seal) the image of someone they wish to honor! Moreover, it is specifically through this striking that the stamp (and the image) fulfill their function!
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that true honor does not come from public displays like printing someone's picture on a stamp, especially when it involves actions that diminish respect. Real honor should be expressed in more meaningful ways.
