הנני מאשר קבלת מכתבו מיום ו' בטבת, ולמוותר להדגיש כמה נעם לי במיוחד לקרוא בו שימשיך בקריאה דשובה ישראל גם בועידות והכנוסים העתידים, כפי שמסר לי מר יוסף שי' קלרמן, וביחוד בקרב הנוער.
מצורף בזה העתק מכתבי למרכז תנועת החרות במענה על ההזמנה שנתכבדתי בה.
והרי הועידה מתכנסת ביום סגולה, יום הסתלקות אדמו"ר הזקן בעל התניא והשולחן ערוך, ובפרט שבשנה זו תמלאינה 150 שנה להסתלקות-הילולא שלו.

I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from Friday, Teves 6th, and I wish to emphasize how especially pleased I was to read that you will continue with the reading of Teshuvah Yisrael also at future conferences and gatherings, as Mr. Yosef sheyichyeh Klarman informed me, and particularly among the youth.
Enclosed is a copy of my letter to the central office of the Herut movement in response to the invitation with which I was honored.
The conference is convening on an auspicious day—the yahrzeit of the Alter Rebbe, author of Tanya and Shulchan Aruch—and especially since this year marks 150 years since his passing-hilulah.
