במ"ש בעניני סופרות וציור האותיות כפי שיטת חב"ד לא אזדמן מילתא לשמוע בזה הוראות, והרי בכגון דא העיקר הוא מסורת מסופר לסופר, פה אל פה, ויש לחפש את אלו שיש להם מסורה בזה ולחקור מהם.

Especially as we are approaching the month of Elul, the month of mercy in which everyone says each day: Hashem Ori V'Yishi ("Hashem is my light and my salvation"). May it be His will that speedily in our days we merit the fulfillment of this written hint. As explained by Bachya (brought by our master the Admor tzt"z in his commentary on Tehillim there), regarding the promise of the building of the Third Temple and the return of the Shechinah—that is what King David meant when he said: Hashem Ori V'Yishi.
Regarding what you wrote about matters of sofrut and forming letters according to Chabad custom—I have not had occasion to hear instructions on this. In such matters, the main thing is tradition passed from scribe to scribe, mouth to mouth. You should seek out those who possess this tradition and inquire from them.
