נהנה אני לקבל מזמן לזמן ידיעות אודות עבודתה בבית ספר חב"ד אשר על שם כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע נשיא ישראל, והצלחתה בזה. ותקותי חזקה אשר אף שבטח כמה קישוים פוגשת בעבודתה זו; הנה מזמן לזמן מתמעטים הם, והעיקר אשר מזמן לזמן מתמעטת תפיסת המקום שלהם אצלה, ובפרט שרואה פירות בעבודתה.
ומובן, המבואר במקום אחר באריכות, אשר כל השתדלות ואפילו יגיעה בחינוך דור הצעיר כדאיות הן, כיון ששינוי לטובה אפילו קטן בשעת מעשה בתלמיד-ה אפשר שישַנה ובענינים עיקרים כל משך ימי חייו, וכנראה גם בעיני בשר.
ובטחוני שהביאו בפועל את האפשריות לסדר גם עניניהם בביתם, ובפרט בהנוגע לילידיהם שיחיו, באופן שלא תהי' סתירה בין עבודתה בקדש בחינוך תלמידי בית הספר - לעבודתה בקדש בחינוך בניהם הם, כי הרי מצוה מסייעת למצוה ולא ח"ו להיפך. ובודאי במדתו של הקב"ה שהיא מדה כנגד מדה אלא שכמה פעמים ככה - תתוסף ברכתו והצלחתו בילידיהם הם, שיהיו נאמנים לד' לתורתו ומצותיו, והיא ובעלה הרב שי' יקבלו מהם רוב נחת אמיתי, שהוא נחת חסידותי, מתוך הרחבת הדעת ובריאות הנכונה.

I am pleased to receive from time to time reports about your work at the Chabad school named after my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal, nasi of Israel, and your success in this.
My strong hope is that although you surely encounter various difficulties in this work, from time to time they diminish—and more importantly, their significance in your eyes diminishes—especially as you see fruits from your efforts.
It is understood, as explained elsewhere at length, that every effort and even toil in educating the younger generation is worthwhile, since even a small positive change at the time in a student can alter his entire life in essential matters—as can be seen with one's own eyes.
I am confident that you have managed to arrange things at home as well—especially regarding your children—in such a way that there is no contradiction between your holy work educating the students at school and your holy work educating your own children. After all, one mitzvah assists another mitzvah and certainly not the opposite.
Surely, according to the measure-for-measure approach of the Holy One blessed be He—except many times over—His blessing and success will increase for your own children: that they will be faithful to G‑d, His Torah and mitzvos; and you and your husband the Rav shiyichyeh will receive much true nachas from them—Chassidic nachas—with broad-mindedness and good health.
