בנועם קבלתי מכתב[י]ו מכ"ג וכ"ה אייר, ולכשתתקבל החבילת ספרים שמזכיר במכתבו זה וגם במכ' הקודם, יודיעוהו, ות"ח מראש על טרחתו עד עתה, ובקשה רבה גם על להבא.
ומה שמסיים במכתבו שמסתפק הוא בענין הספרים שנדפסו בליווארנא וכן אלו שנדפסו בירושלים ת"ו - וכנראה שמסתפק הוא מל' ספק ולא מלשון סיפוק - אין כאן מקום לספק, כי גם ליוואראנא וירושלים הם מקומות דפוס חשובים של הספרדים, וכידוע.
בברכה להצלחה בעבודתו בקדש, שזה ישמש ג"כ צנור וכלי להמשכת וקבלת ברכות השי"ת בכל המצטרך לו ולכל ב"ב שיחיו ולקבלת התורה בשמחה ובפנימיות,

I was pleased to receive your letters from the 23rd and 25th of Iyar, and when the package of books you mention in this letter as well as in your previous one arrives, please notify me. Thank you in advance for your efforts until now, and I kindly ask for your continued help in the future.
Regarding what you conclude in your letter about being uncertain concerning the books printed in Livorno as well as those printed in Jerusalem—apparently you mean 'safek' (doubt) and not 'sippuk' (satisfaction)—there is no room for doubt here. Both Livorno and Jerusalem are well-known important printing centers for Sefardim, as is known.
Blessings for success in your holy work; this will also serve as a channel and vessel for drawing down and receiving the blessings of Hashem in all that you need, for you and all your family, and to receive the Torah with joy and inwardness.
