I have just received your letter in which you detail at length the process regarding the construction of mikvaot in new locations, which is still in the midst of discussion, but there are prospects that you will succeed in your matter. To expedite things, you said that if necessary you would participate in a loan to cover the additional expenses for building the mikvah according to the instructions of our holy Nesi'im.

I am pleased to read that matters are developing in this direction, and may it be G‑d's will that it be completed according to the wishes of our holy Nesi'im. If a loan is needed, I too will participate from the funds under my control with an amount of fifty lira, which can be repaid in about half a year, although I generally hope that lack of funds will not prevent this important matter from being accomplished.

I will read the pidyon nefesh from your letter—bli neder—at the resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal nishmaso Eden, and certainly he will arouse mercy for each and every one mentioned in the pidyon nefesh for all their needs.
