Shalom u'Vrachah!
... And regarding your second question about your son's Bar Mitzvah ... which will take place in Parshas Beshalach this year. In general, I am surprised by your question and by the fact that you are not seeking reasons to be at the resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzukal l'havdil bein chaim l'chaim nishmaso Eden (may his merit protect us), and since your son's Bar Mitzvah is in days close to the yahrzeit, Yud Shevat, it would seem this is a sign that you should seize this opportunity to be at the Ohel and refresh what you merited during those bright days when you were in yeshivah and among Anash. And if not at this opportunity—when then? And if for whatever reason it is impossible or at least seems impossible to you, may it be G‑d's will that the Bar Mitzvah take place in your location now at an auspicious and successful time, and that you and your wife sheyichyu and all your family sheyichyu together rejoice in true joy, which is a joy of mitzvah.
With blessing.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that significant occasions like a Bar Mitzvah near Yud Shevat are opportunities to connect with our spiritual roots by visiting holy places such as the Ohel. When that's not possible, sincere celebration with family brings true mitzvah joy.
