האזהרה שהזהרנו מלחתוך סמני צרעת או לכוותם כדי שישתנה מראה.
והוא אמרו: "השמר בנגע הצרעת" (דברים כד, ח).
ולשון ספרי: "'השמר בנגע הצרעת' - בלא תעשה".
ולשון המשנה: "התולש סימני טמאה והכוה את המחיה - עובר בלא תעשה".

The 308th Prohibition
1. The prohibition in which we were warned not to cut off signs of tzaraas or to burn them so that their appearance will change.
2. This is as it is stated: "Be careful regarding the plague of tzaraas" (Devarim 24:8).
3. And the language of the Sifri: "'Be careful regarding the plague of tzaraas' — this is a negative commandment."
4. And the language of the Mishnah: "One who plucks signs of impurity or burns the healthy flesh — transgresses a negative commandment."
