Chana Goldstein (President, Organization for Taharas HaMishpacha)

Chana Goldstein was recognized in correspondence from the Lubavitcher Rebbe as the president of an organization dedicated to Taharas HaMishpacha (Family Purity). She was acknowledged for her communal leadership and her efforts in advancing the organization's work, as well as for her role as a mother raising her children in the path of Torah and good deeds.

Correspondence with the Rebbe

In a letter dated 28th of Marcheshvan, 5711 (1950), the Rebbe expressed his pleasure upon receiving a letter from Chana Goldstein that included photographs of her two children. He offered heartfelt blessings that she and her husband merit to raise their children to Torah, marriage, and good deeds. The Rebbe was particularly gratified to learn of her election as president of the organization for Taharas HaMishpacha and noted the growth of its activities under her leadership.

The Rebbe shared an important teaching regarding leadership, quoting his father-in-law, the Previous Rebbe: just as a good teacher imparts knowledge so that the student can eventually learn independently, so too, a successful communal leader inspires vitality and enthusiasm among members, empowering them to take initiative and contribute actively without constant reliance on the president or officers. This message was offered as guidance and encouragement for Chana Goldstein in her communal work.
