Regarding your note about what is written in the Kehot Haggadah, second edition, that among the three mitzvos—vessels—and the six species—lights—it can be explained based on what is written elsewhere: that Ze'er Anpin and Malchut are analogous to Orot v'Kelim (lights and vessels), and in vessels there are inner, intermediate, and outer aspects.
