Mitzvah of burying the dead in is it from the Torah or from the Rabonon?

Mitzvah of burying the dead in is it from the Torah or from the Rabonon?

According to the Rambam it is from the Torah. According to Rashi it is only משום כבוד הבריות (honor for people)

Following are Rishonim who are of the view that burying the dead is not from the Torah: רס"ג (with the exception of those who were put to death by the Beit din).  רדב"ז view is that by ordinary deaths there is only a prohibition of לא תלין but not a positive mitzvah of burying. According to the בה"ג it is part of the general mitzvah of והלכת בדרכיו “you shall walk in his ways”. יראים same as above. רמב"ם it is a mitzvah of Derabanan and included in the mitzvah of ואהבת לרעך כמוך (it has been pointed out that the רמב"ם seems to contradict himself from elsewhere and from ספר המצות)

שו"ע אדה"ז view is that it is from the Torah. Discuused in the שאגת אריה, בפי' פערךא לס' המצות, ושדי חמד
