Shalom u'Vrachah!

As we stand in the days of Elul, the month of mercy—Ani LeDodi VeDodi Li (I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine)—the month in which, as the Alter Rebbe says, one goes out to greet the light of His blessed countenance in the field. And immediately after this comes the month of Tishrei, the general month for the entire upcoming year, in which it is said: "Tishrei v'teshbok v'techaper al chov amcha u'meshuva b'chol" (Tishrei will forgive and atone for your people's debt and be satiated with everything). My request is: you should be those who plan and organize that those residents of Kfar Chabad who came from our country previously during this Hakhel year—those who are twenty years old and above and have not yet visited here nor prayed at the Ohel of the Previous Lubavitcher Rebbe our Nasi but wish to do so—invite them in my name to visit here for the coming month of Tishrei, to pray at the Ohel of the Previous Lubavitcher Rebbe and for all of us to pray together in his shul, to study both Nigleh and Chassidus in his Beis Midrash, etc.

Of course this applies only if their trip will not cause any detriment to holiness or to holy institutions or their matters—in Eretz HaKodesh generally and in Kfar Chabad specifically. The trip is conditional on their returning to Kfar Chabad. For married men—the trip must have their wives' full consent.

May it be G‑d's will that in these days—as mentioned above when "the King, King of Kings, Hakadosh Baruch Hu is received in the field," then everyone is permitted (and as explained by my father-in-law: able) whoever wishes may go out to greet Him; He receives everyone with a pleasant countenance and shows a smiling face to all—may the King fill all requests and desires of their hearts for good among all those who greet Him within all Israel. May He fulfill (as above) with a pleasant countenance and inscribe and seal each one for a good and sweet year with revealed good.
