To the leadership of the first (old) synagogue in Kfar Chabad in our holy land, may it be rebuilt and established by our righteous Moshiach soon; may Hashem be upon them for life.

Shalom u'Vrachah!

I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 20th of Tammuz, in which you write about the increase and expansion—primarily regarding the qualitative enhancement—meaning the Talmud Torah classes being studied in the synagogue.

It is well known, as our Sages expound on the verse 'Ohev Hashem Sha'arei Tzion Mikol Mishkenot Yaakov' ('G‑d loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob'), that these are gates distinguished by halachah.

May it be G‑d's will that, as written: 'Vechol Banayich Limudei Hashem' ('And all your children will be taught by Hashem'), 'Talmidei Hashem', 'Lomdei Torat Hashem', and there will be abundant peace (increasing peace) in the world (from the word 'he'elem', as explained in Chassidus). May hearts draw closer more and more, and may there be an abundance of peace—and consequently also an abundance of blessing.

Since this increase nullifies the cause of exile, usually when the cause is nullified so is its effect; thus there will be abundant redemption—the true and complete Geulah. These days will be transformed into joy and gladness.

With blessings for good news in all the above.

M. Schneersohn

Summary
